Grilled Citrus Salmon
Grilled salmon with a tangy citrus marinade that tastes great and is perfect for a barbecue. The salmon tastes great when you mix it with soy sauce, honey, and fresh citrus. Your taste buds will beg you for more.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 orange
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Rub olive oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger, lemon zest, and orange zest into a bowl and mix them together using a whisk
Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets that are in a shallow dish
Put the fillets in the marinade for at least 30 minutes and turn them over halfway through
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Place the salmon on a plate and season it with salt and pepper
If you use a fork to flake the salmon, it's done after 4 to 5 minutes on each side
For extra flavor, baste the salmon with the rest of the marinade while it's cooking on the grill
Take the food off the grill when it's done and sprinkle it with fresh parsley
Warm up the citrus salmon on the grill and serve it with your favorite sides
