Hazelnut Butter Cookies Dipped in Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 1 cup hazelnut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Mix the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and hazelnut butter together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and well mixed
Add the vanilla extract and egg to the bowl and mix until everything is well mixed in
Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms
Take tablespoon-sized chunks of dough and roll them into balls
Leave space between each cookie when you put them on the baking sheet that has been worked on
Press down gently on each dough ball with a fork to make a crisscross pattern on top
Put the cookies in an oven that is already hot and bake them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown
After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet
Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down
Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler after the cookies have cooled
Put each cookie back on the wire rack and dip it half way into the melted chocolate
Before you serve the cookies, let the chocolate harden
Have fun with these tasty chocolate-dipped hazelnut butter cookies!
